Adam LaPorte's The Baseball​ Play, premiered on March 30th, 2018. The production was a collaboration between OCU’s School of Theatre student run organization Out of the Box, the new music organization Project 21, and the new works organization Fresh Paint.

The small town of Jackson rallies behind it’s High School Baseball Team and it’s star, Zachary Birdmen. But upon the arrival of Caleb Taylor, Zachary’s athletic ambition and sense of self are suddenly put on the rocks.
